Campos Coffee caravan

Buzz Batch was given the task of a rebrand and refurbishment of the old Harris coffee caravan. Part of JDE’s acquisition of Campos moved this asset across to their brand but it was in need of a little freshen up.

The original fitout was for a short term launch as a wedding bar before it was purchased by Harris coffee and new equipment was installed. Unfortunately the short term wedding bar started to deteriorate quickly and begun twisting and turning in all the wrong places!

The scope was to create a clean and minimal fitout that gave a feeling of warmth with still feeling spacious. Buzz chose to work with Exterior grade Birch ply finished in a clear furniture oil. All windows/ awnings were created with secret fixings and rebated timber sections to house the 4.5mm acrylic panels. New lighting fitted to create a visually appealing space whilst still adding effective light over the work space machinery.

The caravan will next be fitted with brand new machinery from La Marzocco and be on the road shortly after, So keep your eyes peeled!

Domino Bar goes to GABS festival

The Domino horse float bar was featured at GABS festivals, in both Sydney and Melbourne events this year!

The converted horse float handled over 4,000 serves of drinks over the 2 weekends with its standard 3 tap system, an additional benchtop 2 tap unit and a frozen slush option over the back deck.

With the full solar and battery back up system, the Domino bar arrived onsite and was able to instantly be lit up and beer system began chilling.

While the other festival assets were waiting for power, we were up and running with set up complete within half an hour, including all seating, DJ booth, kegs set and signage installed. The built in water and waste tanks also saw our booth being one of the few with hot running water.

The Domino bar was then packed up and sent off to its next gig, with a bump out of 1 hour taking place.

Coffee carts for the NRL at Bankwest stadium

Buzz Batch has been engaged by Bankwest stadium to supply coffee carts and baristas for the upcoming NRL season.

Our solution for our preliminary setup is a large cart featuring a brand new 2 group Rancilio machine and Mazzer grinder. The stainless steel cart also features cup dispensers, a wash up sink and its own built in power distribution board, as a result, this makes operation a breeze!

The cart solution will hopefully ease congestion at food outlets. This reduces patron’s time spent away from watching the game, therefore, giving patrons a more enjoyable experience. As the season rolls out we will be adding more carts and fine tuning the layout of the equipment.

If you are looking for a coffee cart or food related solution for your venue or event, be sure to get in touch with us over at the contact page!

We are available for all sized events. Anytime. Anywhere!

Mini bar cart hire

mobile bar solution

Buzz Batch were called in for a last minute activation down in Adelaide at the lovely Distill bar in Rundle St.

The request was for a mobile bar with a sink service, custom logos and artwork, timber styling and a clean finish. To achieve this, we converted a coffee cart with some minor adjustments to fit the scope.

The bar was then dressed with some artificial greenery and a heap of Fever Tree Merch.

If you are after an activation solution, from a bar cart to a 40′ shipping container, fixed long term or on wheels, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

20′ Site shed work office

We had a last minute project come through the door prior to Christmas this year. A 20′ high cube Shipping container was used to house the project which featured the following inclusions;

50mm EPS CR insulated panels were used to line the interior of the container, providing both a thermal and acoustic rating. It is also used to conceal all power and additional services.

The structure featured two 1200×1200 sliding windows, allowing the site foreman to oversee the worksite at just a glance. Entry to the container site shed is granted via a steel skinned prehung door with a flush lock for security and safety.

Comfort is assisted with a 2.8KW reverse cycle Air conditioning system, allowing the room to be set at a desired temperature no matter the conditions outside. Hygiene and cleanliness is taken care of with the use of r10 safety flooring which is easy to maintain and also provides a slip rating.

15Amp power with LED lighting, double pole GPO’s and a RCBO protected board keep the room well lit and devices powered.

This project was completed in 2 weeks and delivered on time.

Shipping Container cafe new to Alexandria!

We recently installed a pair of containers to WorkIt Spaces latest e-commerce hub situated in Alexandria.

The project consists of 2 brand new Containers and required various walls and the ceiling to be removed and framed with steel. The 20′ container has been converted into a cafe come bar at night and the 10′ container is to be utilized as a reception space.

The open space design allows for local coffee roasters and brewers to showcase their products weekly and monthly.

The shipping container cafe is also manned daily for the tenants and their clients perusal. Featuring a 2 group coffee machine and up to 6 beers on tap. A large 12 tray combo oven for daily specials and a light refreshments menu for those in-between requirements!

We finished the space off by recycling the container doors into tables for meeting and dining use.

If you’re looking for a container solution at your venue please give us a call! we’d love to help design your next shipping container cafe or bar.
