Buzz Batch was contacted to create a premium oyster experience for the brand East 33 – Sydney Rock Oysters. With short notice over the December period, we located an existing build that was a decent base to start with. Upon delivery for the unit, a lot of work quickly appeared!
The trailer had hydraulic issues, a non compliant staircase, cheap quality fittings and very poorly built hand rails.
We began with some quick renders for the client and brand to approve. Buzz then started on the refit with a 4 week build time.
The trailer was essentially gutted and refitted to firstly comply with Australian standard and secondly to imitate the renders as accurately as possible. New bi fold windows were fitted, solid timber cladding was featured within the stair wells and utilised as hand rails. New awnings, a full wrap in 7 year vehicle quality vinyl and LED light boxes were fitted to create a luxurious space for a premium brand!
The roof lifting equipment was replaced with a new control panel and the stairs and top floor feature a synthetic teak flooring, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning. The overall appearance and functionality ticked all the boxes, coming in under budget and on time.
